GDF SUEZ, the company was struggling with developing emergency procedures for the Vestas V90 turbine across several working locations. The hub and nose cone are very difficult to access and require a customized solution.
Safety One Training was able to develop customized procedures on-site for this particular situation. Not only did we deliver trainings to the employees, we also rehearsed an actual emergency drill that was coordinated with local emergency response personnel and Canadian Helicopters.
The program was 7 days long and the training covered topics in Fall Protection, Rescue, Confined Space and other emergency medical scenarios.
