Tower Climbing Safety & Rescue Instructors Needed

Safety One Training International Inc. is looking to hire training instructors to keep up with the demand for climbing and rescue training in the wireless industry. If your resume matches the description below we would love to hear from you.

RELEVANT REQUIRED WORK EXPERIENCE:

 Previous experience as a safety trainer is required and must be verifiable.
 Extensive experience in a construction or maintenance industry with regards to work at heights.
 Knowledge of wireless or telecommunication industry safety standards.
 Industrial rope access,  rescue team experience, confined space entry, wind energy or industrial rigging applications.
 Safety Background highly desirable; AAS, BS, or MS in Occupational Safety and Health or CSP certification.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

 Teaching OSHA, NATE and ANSI regulations/standards applicable to work at heights and rescue training.
 Classroom presentation and field training required.
 Ability to gain SPRAT certification (Level 1) within 60 days of hire date.
 Oversee and participate in field safety audits and other related activities as needed.
 Facilitate safety training to ensure both relevance of content and compliance with regulation.
 Review procedures and inspect training locations to ensure safe work conditions.
 Develop and implement standard procedures and reports.
 Manage personal OSHA training records and requirements.
 Review and approve communications and documentation.
 Maintain professional affiliations and pursue applicable certifications as directed.
 Develop and deliver safety presentations to outside organizations as appropriate or requested.

REQUIREMENTS:

 High level of knowledge required in OSHA, ANSI, NFPA, SPRAT, IRATA, AWEA and more.
 Documented climbing and rescue training experience.
 Prior management experience is a plus.
 Excellent analytical and organizational skills.
 Ability to handle changing priorities.
 Ability to work well with and motivate fellow teammates.
 Ability to travel extensively in the United States and abroad.
 Excellent presentation skills and professional ethics.

Compensation

Contract basis- Day rate based on experience and qualifications plus per diem and expenses.
Full Time Instructor- W2 salary plus incentives based on qualifications and experience, medical and dental benefits and 401k match.
