Art Seely is a renowned authority in the field of safety and survival training, and the sole founder of Safety One International, Inc. Mr. Seely was one of the first certified rescue paramedics in the United States. He started a tracked snow vehicle engineering and service company in 1984. Although he's involved in snowcat sales today through Snow Transport Specialist, a division of Safety One, the emphasis of his work has always been to help companies keep their employees safe. In 1987, Art transitioned into snow survival and snowcat operations training. Today, he's recognized as the leading expert in the field, and actively instructs through Snow Operations Training Center. Mr. Seely subsequently formed Air Operation Training Center and instructs helicopter safety training along with leading professionals in the field. He also instructs classes in Bioterrorism and Pandemic Preparedness Training. Although Art does not instruct in the Antenna & Tower Training Center he's instrumental in the management of this division.

John Lindner
Director of Training - Snow Operations Training Center
John has been an instructor in the snow survival school since 1986 and is currently the Director of Training for Snow Operations Training Center. For almost three decades he has taught mountaineering and survival training. He is also a former instructor for Denver Public Schools and the Community College of Denver. John is a contributing author to three bestselling survival books and written numerous articles on survival and mountaineering. Part of John's formal training includes courses in mountaineering, survival, avalanche and backcountry first aid, including military winter survival and snowcat operations. In the Colorado Mountain Club, John has been the long time Director of the Wilderness Survival School. As a senior instructor for other Colorado Mountain Club Schools, he actively teaches mountain skills, including winter camping.

Joe M. Anderson II
Antenna & Tower Training Center: Lead InstructorSnow Operations Training Center: Assistant Instructor
Since Mr. Anderson joined Safety One, Inc., he has specialized in creating, designing, implementing and instructing custom courses for the Tower Industry. Some of these courses include: Tower Safety Training and Rescue for Bill Boards, Competent Equipment Inspector, and the Advanced ATTC. Mr. Anderson has also implemented and designed the Rescue Rigging Lifeline Kits and Transfer Line 4:1's, specifically designed for the Tower Rescue Procedures. Joe is currently a Career Firefighter with a large metro area paid department and also a Lt. with a VOlunteer Fire Department within the metro area. Since becoming a Firefighter, Joe has dedicated his career to the traditionalism of the Fire Service with an aggressive, proactive, and progressive approach. With great mentors early in his career, Joe decided to become involved with instructing. Joe has been involved as an instructor with a Firefighter I academy for the last 5 years and continues to instruct various fire departments and agencies in a variety of disciplines.

Nick Weighton
Snow Operations Training Center: Assistant Director of TrainingAntenna & Tower Training Center: Instructor
Lieutenant Colonel, Special Forces, U.S. Army Reserve (retired)
Mr. Weighton joined Safety One in 1997 and is the Assistant Director of Training for the Snow Operations Training Center (SOTC) as well as an instructor for the Antenna & Tower Training Center. For SOTC, he specializes in mountain navigation and winter survival. Using hands-on teaching methods, he demonstrates map and compass techniques, survival gear and shelter construction.
Originally from Florida, Nick moved to Colorado in 1990. He has traveled to all 50 states along with 24 countries providing him with a wide range of practical experience in various climates, terrain and working environments. Mr. Weighton offers 36 years of professional experience as a military and civilian instructor in navigation, survival, climbing and a dozen other outdoor skills. He was a Field Artillery and Special Forces officer and presently a backpacking, mountaineering and survival instructor for the Colorado Mountain Club. Since 1966 Nick has worked, hiked, trained or taught in woodland, mountain, desert and swamp environments in all weather conditions, day and night. As an avid mountain climber, he has summitted 55 mountains over 14,000 feet high, including Mount Rainier. He enjoys outdoor sports such as hiking, camping, cross-country skiing and snowshoeing.
Nick considers it a professional obligation to pass on his knowledge and experience to help keep our customers safe.

Steve Dundas
Snow Operations Training Center: Senior Instructor
Mr. Dundas is a senior instructor for Snow Operation Training Center. He's been teaching for SOTC since 1999. Steve is an experienced snow vehicle operator with over ten years in snowcat transportation through Mountain Top Communications. Steve has 35 years' experience as an Airport Ground Operation Supervisor for United Airlines. He resides near Reno, Nevada, in the foothills of the Sierras.

Andy Flageolle
Antenna & Tower Training Center: Senior Instructor
Andy is a Lead Safety Coordinator for Tri-State Generation, a large utility company in the western United States. For over thirty years, he has worked and managed within the electrical utility industry. Andy is considered an expert among his peers in Antenna and Tower Climbing and Safety Training. He has spent thousands of man-hours climbing towers for maintenance and rescue. Andy has held a journeyman level certification for twenty-six years and has trained hundreds of students in the OSHA requirements for Antenna and Tower Safety. Andy is a certified Utility Safety Administrator with a CUSA designation. His other certifications include: First Aid/CPR and Defensive Driving. Andy is currently one of Safety One Inc.'s Senior Instructors in our Antenna and Tower Climbing Safety and Rescue course.

Todd Horning
Todd Horning comes from an extensive safety background. He has approximately ten years of experience working in the powersports industry in various positions including parts, service and sales, and safety training departments for some of the largest dealers in the Rocky Mountain region. He also has 10+ years of extensive professional experience teaching in the safe operation of motorcycles, ATVs, and tracked snow vehicles. Todd has spent the last 5 years working in a number of areas related to work at height and fall protection. He has had the opportunity to work with many different crews around the world to develop safe practices for some of the most unique at-height scenarios. He is very passionate about sharing his experience with others to ensure their safety and enjoyment.

Mark H. Dornstauder
Mr. Dornstauder is a training instructor for Snow Operations Training Center. Mark has been teaching for SOTC since January 2005. Mark is an experienced snow cat operator since 1997. He is currently employed by a utility company where he works as an Equipment Specialist in the fleet management department. He has spent much of his time working on LMC, VMC and Tucker snow cats. Mark also transports telecommunication employees to mountain sites in the Reno and surrounding areas. Mark resides with his family in Reno, NV where he enjoys spending time outdoors with his family going camping, rock climbing and riding ATV's.

Robin Commons
Instructor – Snow Operations Training CenterRobin Commons joined Safety One in the fall of 2008 as an assistant instructor in the Snow Operations Training Center. Since 2003 he's been a senior instructor with the Colorado Mountain Club teaching navigation, backcountry travel, winter conditions skills and emergency shelter construction to beginning mountaineers. Before becoming an instructor he had completed several courses, including the CMC survival school and Mountain Oriented First Aid. In 2004 he was trained as a Wilderness First Responder. Prior to joining Safety One he spent 25 years in the broadcasting industry. His last position was as a Regional Director of Operations for Westwood One.
